When I first visited St. Peter's, I went downstairs to attend the
coffee hour after the service. One of the charms of St. Peter's
is hospitality - I sure had a wonderful time with people in this
parish. It has been a little over a year since then, and now I am
a part of their family. Wanting to capture some special moments
I had with St. Peter's family, I started my little camera ministry.
I hope I can communicate with you what a great parish St. Peter's
is through this project, and some day you may be in one of these
pictures with us in near future! - Kuni Shirota

What a busy and wonderful weekend it was. I went to Alan Gates'
ordination ceremony at the cathedral, then off to our Gym for Fran
and Hiro's 50th wedding anniversary on Sat. This is a snap shot
from the following Sunday where Fr. Alan is giving a blessing to
Fran and Hiro along with our newly ordained deadon, The Rev. Alan
Gates. It was sush a great blessing to be a witness to those two
wonderful events. Watching those folks, some thoughts went through
my mind - What is it like to be commited to a person for 50 years?
What is it like to take a vow in front of many people? Neither of
them are easy things to do. I find their very strong will and faith
poured into their vows incredibly hopeful.
Our parish witnessed another series of wonderful events in our family
history this Sunday.
