The Planned Giving Committee oversees the work fo the diocesan Planned Giving Office. It recommends policies, reviews programs and serves as a support system for planned giving efforts. Services offered include: preaching/teaching about planned giving; conducting life/estate planning seminars; establishing endowments at the local level; organizing legacy societies at the local congregational level; promoting and expanding membership in the Bishop's Society; assisting individuals with their life/estate planning; wills awareness workshops; and encouraging people to include the church in their estate plans.
