hispanic ministry committee

This ministry continues to flourish and grow throughout our diocese. Five active congregations are in Vancouver (San Lucas), Seaview (St. Peter), Shelton (St. David), Auburn (San Mateo) and Mount Vernon (Resurreccion). Ministries include an after-school program, summer outreach program, Spanish language classes, employment and counseling services and advocacy work. A support network has been established with congregations in our diocese with Province VIII representatives and at the national level.

history, archives and records committee

In collaboration with the archivist, this committee develops policy, provides educational opportunities and is available for consultation on historical, archival and records-management matters within the diocese. Members of this committee are actively involved in promoting awareness of the Episcopal heritage in the Pacific Northwest through workshops, speaking engagements, presentation of papers and exhibits. Appointed by the bishop, committee members serve a three-year term.
