tacs (Training and Consulting Services)

• We are twenty lay people and clergy who have the passions, skills and committment to provide consultation, faciliation and training for congregations, vestries, commissions and committees
• We assist with, but are not limited to retreats, mututal ministry reviews, call committe work, congregational development, discernment committee leader training and conflice resolution
• We are professional leaders who value and use experiential learning.
  (Experience + Relfection = Learning)
• Our goal is not to solve problems that groups may face but to offer and demonstrate the tools by which they may work through issues themselves.
• We provide Training and Consulting Services; we are TACS!

What is our reward?

We are not financially compensated for our services. Our reward is to watch a group "get it;" to understand what it means to resolve problems as a team made up of several individuals with various skills. Te see them learn to trust each other and to realize how critical discernment is in their decisions. Our reward is to see them get it and watch it work!
